T.I. (aka T.I.P. aka The King of the South aka Rubber Band Man) ( Birth Name: Clifford Joseph Harris Jr ) featuring Chris Brown ( Birth Name: Christopher Maurice Brown ) in the song -Get Back Up.
The reason I chose this song is because I felt that it was very meaningful and at the same time, it was applicable to my life. (After I had listened to it several times). I first heard this song on the radio station 98.7FM, but at that time I did not really think it was such a great song but after listening to it a few times it became one of my favourite songs and I went to research about it.
Chris Brown was a rapper who had been to jail before ( I'll explain more below ), and he got some inspiration for the song during his time spent behind bars. Chris Brown's dance routines have been compared to those of Usher's and Michael Jackson's. Just 2 years ago, Chris Brown pleaded guilty to assaulting a female singer, Rihanna, and thus was sentenced to five years probation and six months of community service. T.I. is also a rapper/singer and the CEO of Grand Hustle Records, and has also been to jail a total of 3 times! He, like Chris Brown, also released albums and songs while behind bars.

Their grammar may be a little inaccurate, but that's just the style of their rap. ( Ain't, Never done no drugs, y'all n' etc ) I like this song very much now, as it sounds nice and inculcates many life principles to me at the same time. The main message of the song is that no matter what difficulties life presents to you, you just have to face it, deal with it, then get on with life again. He keeps emphasising that he's only a human, that he is sorry for all the wrong he has done, that he is trying to be perfect although it's impossible for any human to be perfect. I agree very much with him, that life ain't easy, that it is impossible for us humans to not make any mistakes, and that when you face difficulties in life, just like the famous horse story about a horse who was about to be buried alive but chose to take a step forward for each pile of dirt shoved onto him and eventually stepped out of the well and escaped, free, you have to face all sorts of difficulties life piles at you, deal with it, then get on with life, living free. :D
